Privacy Policy

LEV Systems ApS ("LEV", "we", "us") is a systems engineering studio registered in Denmark under CVR 46070070. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this website, levsystems.io.

This policy covers this website only. Personal data we process on behalf of a client under a signed engagement is governed by that engagement and by the data processing agreement made with the client, not by this policy.

1. What this website processes

The site is a presentation of our work. One function on it involves personal data: the contact form.

• Contact form: when you submit the form we process the name, company, work email and message you enter. The submission is sent to us as an email. It is not written to a database on this site.
• Abuse prevention:when a submission reaches our server, the IP address of the request is held in the server’s working memory for a limited period so we can cap how many submissions come from the same source. It is not written to disk, not stored in a database, and not used for anything else.
• Serving the site: our hosting provider processes ordinary technical connection data (such as IP address and request details) in order to deliver and secure the site.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and you should not send it through the contact form. Send only what is needed to describe your enquiry.

2. Purpose and legal basis

• Answering your enquiry: where your message concerns a possible engagement, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract). For other business enquiries the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to us.
• Keeping the site available and free of abuse: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in protecting the site against automated and abusive submissions.

Providing your details is voluntary. Without them we cannot answer you.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no profiling, and it does not build visitor profiles. Nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what your browser needs to display the page, so there is no consent banner.

4. Who receives the data

Two providers process personal data on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:

• Resend: delivers the contact-form email to our mailbox.
• Hetzner Online GmbH: hosts the website on servers in Germany (EU).

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose data where we are legally required to do so.

5. Transfers outside the EU and EEA

The website is hosted in the EU. Where a provider processes personal data outside the EU or EEA, we rely on the safeguards permitted under Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

Contact-form emails are kept in our business mailbox as ordinary business correspondence, for as long as the enquiry and any relationship arising from it require, and are deleted when that purpose has lapsed. The rate-limiting data described in section 1 is held only in working memory and disappears when the time window passes or the server process restarts.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access: obtain confirmation of, and a copy of, the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
• Erasure: have your data deleted, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Restriction: have our processing limited in the cases set out in the GDPR.
• Objection: object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
• Portability: receive the data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdrawal of consent: where processing rests on consent. We do not rely on consent for this website.

To exercise a right, write to info@levsystems.io. We answer within the time limits set by the GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.

8. Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you or similarly significantly affects you.

9. Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to the mailbox that receives contact-form messages is restricted to people at LEV who need it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version published on this page, with the effective date shown above, is the one that applies.
