Custom Software

Most software problems at scale are not tool problems. They are fit problems: the processes that make your company work do not fit the off-the-shelf products you run them on. Custom software closes that gap.

The service

LEV Systems is a systems engineering studio that designs, builds and operates custom software for large companies. Platforms, internal tools and replacements for legacy systems, running on infrastructure you own, with one partner responsible for every layer.

What we build

Platforms that carry a core business process end to end. Internal tools that replace workflows held together by spreadsheets and email. Systems that replace legacy software the business has outgrown. If it can be coded, we can build and run it.

How an engagement works

Every engagement starts with the system, not the software. We map the process, the data and the failure points before anything is built. Scope, architecture and timeline are defined per engagement and written down before work begins. After launch we stay: the studio that built the system operates it.

Ownership

You own the code. You own the servers it runs on. Our reusable tooling remains ours and is licensed to you so the system runs, but everything built for you is yours. If we part ways, everything keeps running, and your team or another vendor takes over with full documentation.

Questions buyers ask

What does custom software cost?

There is no price list. Every engagement is scoped individually against the process it carries, and you get a written scope before we start.

How long does it take to build?

Timelines depend on the system. They are defined per engagement, in writing, before work begins.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full repository access from day one, and everything transfers with documentation if the engagement ends.

Do you replace legacy systems?

Yes. It is one of the most common engagements. We run the old and the new system in parallel until the new one has proven itself.

Do you work with startups or small companies?

No. We work with large and established organisations where systems carry real operational load.

Who operates the software after launch?

We do. The studio that built the system monitors and operates it, on your infrastructure, around the clock.

What technologies do you use?

Boring technology where it counts, modern where it pays. The stack is chosen per system and every choice is documented, so you are never dependent on our preferences.
